A directory link sends customers to a gambling site
The web address an aviation directory lists for this business now redirects to an online “crash game” gambling page.
Axeldyne Site Monitor
Automated, read-only checks of your site the way a customer sees it: uptime, security certificate, domain renewal, broken links, contact forms, phone and hours, and the directory links that send people to you. When something breaks, you get a plain-English alert with the fix.
Instant quick check. We read public pages only and never submit forms or log in.
Illustrative example. Not a real customer.
How it works
Enter your address and, if you like, the links that Google, Yelp or industry directories list for you.
Weekly on Free, daily on Pro. Each run looks at your home page and key pages just as a visitor would.
What broke, why it costs you customers, and exactly what to do, by email, with Slack alerts on paid plans.
What we check
Errors, blank or default hosting pages, and slow load times.
Invalid, mismatched or expiring HTTPS certificates that trigger browser warnings.
Domains close to expiring, before your site and email go dark.
Dead links on your home page and key pages like Contact, Services and Hours.
Whether a form exists and looks wired up. We read the code only and never submit it.
Different numbers or conflicting hours across pages, plus leftover template text.
Listing links that now land on a dead, parked or spam page instead of your site.
Every issue comes with why it matters and how to fix it, written for owners, not developers.
Real findings
We ran our checker on five small aviation businesses on November 3, 2026. Names are withheld. None of the owners knew about these problems.
The web address an aviation directory lists for this business now redirects to an online “crash game” gambling page.
Visitors see the hosting provider's default page, with a certificate that doesn't match the site name, instead of the airport.
The home page shows the theme's “12345 North Main Street”, a sample 1-888 number and info@your-domain.com.
The domain a directory lists returns a 404 with no secure version. The site also shows four different phone numbers.
The listed old address redirects to the real site only after an invalid-certificate warning. Weekday hours also conflict.
